Stewards of public funds, we diligently receive and manage receipts due to the Government while overseeing all payments on its behalf. We are dedicated to maintaining accurate and comprehensive Government accounts, compiling financial data with precision to provide a clear and transparent overview of fiscal activities.

Our responsibility extends to rendering these accounts to the Accountant General, promoting transparency and adherence to regulatory standards. As a nodal agency, we efficiently manage the procurement and distribution of Non-Postal stamps, safeguarding valuable assets, including valuables and opium, entrusted to our care.

We take pride in our role as the nodal agency for the Pension disbursement system, ensuring that retired individuals receive their well-deserved benefits in a timely manner. Through the supply of voucher numbers and CTRs to the DDOs, we facilitate the smooth functioning of financial processes while maintaining budgetary and financial control.

Embracing an advisory role, we provide guidance on financial matters to DDOs, enabling prudent financial decisions across the organization.
